A young entrepreneur is making a splash in the leather industry in Ethiopia. Abai Schulze lived in America for many years, but always dreamed about using her design skills to make luxury bags. And back home now, she's doing just that. CCTV's Andrew Thompson reports.
This project consists leisure facilities addition to Addis Ababa Sheraton hotel. This Luxury Collection hotel complained about the lack of leisure, exercise facilities since its initial design and opening. Innovators were commissioned to add these facilities to compliment the hotel. The site is located within the boundaries of Sheraton Hotel on a hill with an excellent view overlooking the city with the total built up area is 31,400 sqm. The estimate project cost is US $ 25 million. The project consists of: Health club, Olympic and Open tennis courts, Olympic swimming pool, Restaurants, Bungalow villas, Row houses, Hotel Owner main villa, three other VIP villas. The project estimated cost is 25 million USD.
The real estate sector is a major employer in Ethiopia, with numerous high-rise building and apartments coming up across Addis Ababa. Some projects are government-funded, while others are owned by private developers. And some of these are spectacular, such as the 600 apartment complex built by Chinese investors.
